BROOKLYN - A 3,000-square-foot mural that recently popped up in Williamsburg offers a historical perspective of Brooklyn.

The huge artwork covers the southern side of a new rental building at 250 North 10th and Roebling streets. The piece was a collaboration with the development company LCOR and world-renowned artist Mr. Brainwash.

Mr. Brainwash designed the actual image and local artists transferred it on to the wall. The piece also has the artist's signature motto, "Life is beautiful."
