Yankees' Andy Pettitte makes a comeback

BROOKLYN - New York Yankees pitcher Andy Pettitte has made a comeback.

The 40-year-old left-hander missed three months after breaking a bone near his left ankle, but spectators couldn't tell as he took the mound for a double-header Wednesday.

Pettitte threw five shutout innings, four hits and three strikes. He said his leg feels good, and so does his arm.
