Yankees' Cano named AL Home Run Derby captain

NEW YORK - New York Yankees' Robinson Cano has been named captain of the American League team at this year's Home Run Derby in Kansas City.

The second baseman will be responsible for picking the other three American League participants for the all-star game.

Last year, Cano and his dad, who was his personal pitcher, teamed up to win the derby in Phoenix.
