Yankees kick off HOPE Week with riding lesson

BROOKLYN - The New York Yankees kicked off HOPE Week with a special riding lesson at the Riverdale Equestrian Centre on Monday.

The annual event gives the Bronx Bombers a chance to give back to the community and spend time with fans.

Players joined several kids for a riding lesson as part of the Flying Manes Program, which helps special needs children get therapeutic time with horses.
