Yankees stay alive, force Game 6

BROOKLYN - The defending world champions forced a Game 6 in the American League Championship Series as they whipped the Texas Rangers in a 7-2 triumph.

The team pulled out three home-runs and pitcher C. C. Sabathia had his best outing of the postseason allowing only two runs in six innings.

Game 6 is scheduled for Friday night in Texas, where Colby Lewis will start for the Rangers against Phil Hughes.
