Yanks, fans get ready for Opening Day

BROOKLYN - It's almost Opening Day for the New York Yankees and fans are getting excited.

Thousands are expected to be at the new stadium tomorrow for the first game of the season. Grounds crews are busy painting logos and prepping the field in anticipation of the 1 p.m. game against the Detroit Tigers.

Yankees legend and five-time all-star Mike Mussina will throw the first pitch. Late owner George Steinbrenner's granddaughter will sing the national anthem.
