Yolanda Crespo finds lost wedding ring in parking lot of Clean Right Laundromat in Bensonhurst

BROOKLYN - A Brooklyn woman is trying to reunite a lost treasure with its rightful owner.

Yolanda Crespo recently found a wedding ring in the parking lot of Clean Right Laundromat in Bensonhurst.

"It was a very sentimental ring, and it had writing on the inside and the outside, so you can tell whoever bought the ring for this person put a lot of thought into it," she says.

No one claimed the ring inside the East 86th Street laundromat, so Crespo took it to the police for protection.

The ring will remain at the 62nd Precinct until the owner comes forward. Police say the owner not only needs to describe the ring, but also the unique inscription inside of it.
