BROOKLYN - Young artists joined together in Greenpoint to celebrate the past, the present and the future of the neighborhood.

The artists unveiled a new mural called “Stages of Greenpoint," which pays homage to the area by documenting the evolution of its industries.

About 20 students worked with the youth apprenticeship program at the organization Groundswell to research Greenpoint and bring its history to life in a public art project.

The mural can be found at Broadway Stages, a production facility where some popular television shows are filmed.
