BROOKLYN - State officials are asking the federal government to recall a foam dart toy that they say can be a danger to your child.

‘Clingy Darts’ are sold at Dollar Tree stores and contain more than six times the federally allowed limit on a chemical known as DEHP, which is used to soften plastic.

According to the National Toxicology Program, DEHP is a reproductive and developmental toxin in animals. There are concerns about its potential health effects, especially in infants and toddlers.
