WILLIAMSBURG - Eleven children were hospitalized this morning when their school bus crashed into a car in Williamsburg.

Police say the accident happened at around 8:30 near the intersection of Wycoff and Stanhope avenues. Witnesses say the bus struck the car in its mid-section. 

The kids were rushed to local hospitals as a precaution and two adults on the bus refused treatment. The driver of the car, however, was severely injured.
