Police: Bronx man facing felony charges for assaulting 2 officers

A Bronx man is facing felony charges for allegedly assaulting two police officers outside of a Bronx storage facility.
Police say the incident happened on Wednesday as officers were trying to apprehend 42-year-old Carlos McLeod for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.
A confrontation ensued on Park Avenue near Ittner Place, when McLeod allegedly refused to cooperate and assaulted the two NYPD officers.
He is now facing a slew of charges, including assaulting a police officer, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.
News 12 is told that both officers were taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
