THE BRONX - Some New York Yankees fans are crying foul over a new online ticket pricing plan.
According to reports, the Yankees will sign a deal with Ticketmaster that would set a minimum price on the resale of tickets. The move would prevent fans from buying seats below face value on the Internet.
Many says they're worried that all ticket prices will go up as a result. Season ticket holders are also concerned that they'll get stuck with tickets to games they don't want.
Major League Baseball currently has a partnership with the website Stub Hub to resell tickets, but the Yankees, Angels and Cubs have all opted out of that agreement.
