State budget vote deadline missed
THe state budget vote deadline was missed Tuesday after a state senator from the Bronx fell ill.
Democratic Sen. Ruth Hassell-Thompson was taken to a hospital in Albany Tuesday to undergo tests, and Democrats suspended the session until her return.
For the budget to have been passed on time, it would have needed be passed by midnight.
