1 dead, 1 injured after man opens fire on SUV in Bed-Stuy
Police are searching for the man who opened fire on two people on Halsey Street, killing one and injuring the other early Tuesday morning.
The incident happened just before midnight on Halsey Street in Bed-Stuy.
Police say 33-year-old Ernest Brown and a 22-year-old woman were sitting inside a 2007 Mercedes Benz when a man walked up to them and began shooting.
Brown, who was in the driver's seat, was rushed to Interfaith Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police say he suffered gunshot wounds to his head and body.
The woman suffered a gunshot wound to the torso and was transported to Kings County Hospital where she is listed in stable condition. 
Investigators say they are searching for a man who was wearing a blue hoodie and gray sweatpants at the time.
No arrests have been made.
