Video shows suspect in East New York tractor-trailer fires
Police have released surveillance video of a suspect accused of lighting several tractor-trailers on fire in Brooklyn.
Seven trailers were destroyed in the fire on July 31, on Stanley Avenue in East New York.
The video shows a man dressed in a white sweat suit limping as he appears to be holding a crowbar.
Police believe the man seen in the video did not act alone, and they are looking for a second man who may have been the getaway driver in a white box truck.
The suspects broke the window of the trucks and lit a flare inside the cab, according to officials.
Five of the seven trucks involved in the fire are owned by T.T.S. The CFO of the company says, "We are deeply saddened by this event and concerned for the safety of our operators and the community."
If you have any information, police ask you to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
