The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce is starting a new initiative to help out small businesses in the area.
For the remainder of August, the Chamber of Commerce staff plans to visit local businesses in Brooklyn to provide resources and support.
"We are spending every single Friday walking into our member businesses and saying 'how are you doing, what's going on and how we can help,'" said Andrew Hoan of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.
Bagel Pub is one of 300 locations that Hoan and the chamber will be visiting.
The chamber says the goal of the initiative is to make owners feel secure with their businesses.
