Flame Con celebrates 2nd year in Brooklyn
Flame Con, known as the country's largest queer comics festival, came to the Marriott in Downtown Brooklyn this weekend.
This is the second year for Flame Con in Brooklyn and is looked at as the Comic Con for the queer community.
Attendees were encouraged to dress up as their favorite superheroes. The event featured more than 100 artists as well as gay-focused panel discussions on gender identity.
Last year, Flame Con was only a one-day event in Park Slope but was so popular that another day had to be added for this year's event.
