With parents around the borough getting ready for back-to-school shopping, News 12 Brooklyn's Nicole Ryan took a look at some of this season's fashion choices for girls and young women.
At Mandee in the Atlantic Terminal Mall, sales associate Bryana Mars recommends a versatile and stylish bomber jacket, ripped jeans or even overalls.
"Everyone has been coming to the store asking if we have these," Mars says of the overalls. "And we finally have it. We know these are going to be one of the best sellers."
Plaid shirts are also perennially in style, she says.
And of course, there are always graphic T-shirts that can go with anything from cardigans to jeans, Mars says.
