On Saturday morning, police made a shocking discovery on a Coney Island beach, a 45-year-old man was found dead laying in the sand.
"I was on the beach walking past and I thought the man was laid out cold but I didn't think he was dead for two or three days," says Coney Island resident Marc Malone.
Malone says he wants to see more police patrolling the area so an incident doesn't happen like this one again.
"I feel bad because it could've been a family member of mine," says Malone.
The medical examiner is still determining the 45-year-olds cause of death.
