Funeral set for BK teen fatally stabbed at Cornell University

Funeral arrangements are in place for Anthony Nazaire, the Ithaca College student who was fatally stabbed Sunday.

Nazaire, a 19-year-old Brooklyn native, was stabbed in the chest while apparently caught up in a brawl following a student-organized event at Cornell University.

Police say 20 investigators are working on the case, trying to figure out how the killing happened.

Sandy Rubenstein, the Nazaire's family attorney, says Ithaca's chief of police briefed the family about the investigation Tuesday morning.

A wake for Nazaire is scheduled for Sept. 9 at 4 p.m. at Harmony Funeral Home, followed by a prayer service ceremony at 6 p.m.

Funeral service will take place Sept. 10 at 9:30 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Innocents, located near the family's home on Newkirk Avenue.
