A cyclist is in critical condition following a collision with a car in Park Slope, police say.

It happened Wednesday on 6th Avenue around 10:00 p.m.

Police say the 20-year-old cyclist pulled out in front of traffic and collided with a 2006 Honda Civic.

The crash was so intense, police say the man flew through the passenger side windshield, shattering it.

He was transported to Methodist Hospital in critical but stable condition.
