The annual West Indian American Day parade is just a few days away, but one group has spent months perfecting its act before the big day.
The stilt-walking Moko Jumbies take the cake for the biggest performance. If you don't know where to find them, just look up.
"We up tall. We the ones on top. Everybody looks up to us. When we walk in through a crowd, we're the ones that get noticed the most," says Jason Edwards, the Moko Jumbies director.
Mastering the art of walking, much less dancing, at around a dozen feet in the air takes time.
That's why they've been rehearsing several hours a night four times a week for the past four months to ensure their safety.
