BK-Manhattan weekend express bus resumes service
For the first time in six years, the X28 bus offers an alternative way for residents in southwestern Brooklyn to get into Manhattan on weekends.
The express bus resumed service from Coney Island to Midtown Sunday. Weekend buses had last used the route in 2010.
It departs every 30 minutes to an hour, and the route begins at Surf Avenue and 37th Street and passes through Dyker Heights, Bath Beach and Bensonhurst before stopping at East 57th Street and Madison Avenue.
It makes return trips as well.
