Millions of spectators from around the world were drawn to the Eastern Parkway to watch the West Indian American Day Parade in Brooklyn Monday. Caribbean culture, food and fashion were on full display,

West Indian Day Parade draws millions of spectators
Millions of spectators from around the world were drawn to the Eastern Parkway to watch the West Indian American Day Parade in Brooklyn Monday.
Caribbean culture, food and fashion were on full display, along with floats, arts and crafts, clothing and jewelry vendors.
Spectators lined the parade route, many of them of Caribbean descent.
One woman in the crowd says she comes to the parade every year, proudly representing the island nation Grenada.
The parade draws an estimated 1 million to 3 million spectators each year.
