Residents uneasy after multiple store robberies

Residents are concerned after a number of store robberies that have taken place in Marine Park and Old Mill Basin.

In August, the Mill Basin Pharmacy reported that two people entered the business and approached an employee at gunpoint, demanding money and drugs.

Earlier this month, three men robbed a cigar store on Flatbush Avenue. Surveillance video shows the men displaying a firearm to a store employee.

Police say the suspects then fled from the store with an undetermined amount of cash, five cartons of cigarettes and 10 rolling papers.

On Thursday, what is believed to be same group of men robbed the This Way Pharmacy in Marine Park and got away with cash and prescription drugs.

The suspects are described as three black males who are around 18 years old.

No arrests have been made.
