9/11 first responders honored at Coney Island’s MCU Park
Firefighters, police officers and other responders visited MCU Park in Coney Island Sunday to honor those who were lost 15 years ago on Sept. 11.
Jim Molinell, a firefighter with Ladder 169, organizes a ceremony and Mass each year to remember the victims of the attack. His partner Jeff Olsen perished that day.
New York City service members and their families stopped by MCU Park's Wall of Remembrance to share memories, shed tears and say prayers for those who didn't make it home.
