Bushwick cafe inspired by 'Breaking Bad'
A new cafe in Bushwick takes its inspiration from AMC's critically acclaimed series "Breaking Bad."
Dennis Kosan, the founder of Walter's Coffee Roastery, is such a fan of the show that he decided to open the Irving Avenue shop as a permanent place to celebrate it.
The series stars Bryan Cranston as Walter White, a chemistry teacher diagnosed with cancer who turns to the manufacturing of crystal meth to ensure his family's future.
The shop's inside features hazmat suits and chemistry beakers, and customers order off the periodic table menu. For now, Walter's serves coffee, tea and pastries, but there are plans to serve beer and wine in the future.
