Police say two kids are safe after going missing Friday in Brooklyn Heights.
Officials say a mother took her two young sons from the childcare agency at St. Vincent's in an attempt to get them out of foster care.
Police say they took the mother into custody without incident after they found the 2-year-old and 10-month-old boys unharmed.
Family members say the children's father is not in the picture, and the mother just wanted her kids back home and out of the foster system.
Police had no information on where the kids were found. St. Vincent's has not responded to requests for comment.
