Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams announced Tuesday that new technology funds will be invested into Brooklyn schools.

Adams, along with other local officials, says $26 million will be invested toward science, technology, engineering and mathematics education. They say this will include building labs, a new STEM teaching program and a collaboration with Kingsborough Community College that will link middle and high school students to college students. 

"We have to make sure we are inclusive of every child, whose bar has to be raised," says Deputy Borough President Diana Reyna. "We are each investing in them as the human development process continues."

Borough President Adams says the money will go to 150 schools across Brooklyn.
