Police: Woman’s body found in Owl's Head Park in Bay Ridge

Police say they made a gruesome discovery at a park in Bay Ridge Thursday morning. 



Around 9:30 a.m., authorities say they discovered the body of a woman who appears to have been in her mid-20s at the skate park inside Owl's Head Park.



Police say the woman suffered some type of head trauma, and they are awaiting an official cause of death from the medical examiner. 



The park, which has a quiet, unassuming reputation, is frequented by joggers, dog walkers and skateboarders.
