Smoke suspends L train service between BK, Manhattan
A smoke situation in the tunnel of the L line caused a service suspension between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
Service was suspended between Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg and First Avenue in Manhattan.
Fire officials say the situation was under control and that there were no injuries.
The situation caused headaches for many using the subway line.
The cause of the smoke remains under investigation.
