Century 21 opens its doors in Downtown Brooklyn

A major retailer officially opened its doors Tuesday in Downtown Brooklyn, marking a huge milestone in the development of the area known as City Point.

Century 21 is just one of many retailers slated to make its way to the shopping and entertainment hub in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn. The area will soon also be home to Target, Trader Joe's and Alamo's Drafthouse Cinema.

Shoppers say they are excited for the stores and the employment opportunities.

The remainder of the stores coming to Downtown Brooklyn are expected to open by the end of this year or early next year.
