Video shows man accused of beating woman to death inside Brooklyn park

Police have released surveillance video of a man accused of beating a woman to death inside a Brooklyn park.



Investigators responded to a 911 call of a woman who was badly hurt inside Owl Head's Park back on Sept. 29.



Police pronounced her dead at the scene and say she was later identified as Jennifer Cohen, 35, of Brooklyn.



They say the man caught on surveillance video is accused of beating Cohen to death and leaving her in the park.



Police describe the man as being 5'8" tall, 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with white trim, black shorts with white trim, dark colored sneakers and a dark colored baseball cap.



Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
