Students at Medgar Evers College squared off in their own mock presidential debate Wednesday.
Three students represented Donald Trump in the debate, and three represented Hillary Clinton.
"I do feel like it's important for all of us as students and looking to get an education to be well aware of what these people are bringing to the table," says student Daisy Carrera.
Debate organizers say one of their main goals was to spur civic engagement among the increasingly influential bloc of young voters
"I feel like sometimes young people aren't involved because we don't know how important we are," says student Sakia Fletcher.
