Teen robbed of bike, backpack at gunpoint in Brooklyn

A 15-year-old boy was robbed of his bicycle and backpack at gunpoint in Brooklyn, according to police. It happened on Sept. 30, around 8:20 p.m. at the corner of Cortelyou Road and East 17th Street.

Teen robbed of bike, backpack at gunpoint in Brooklyn
A 15-year-old boy was robbed of his bicycle and backpack at gunpoint in Brooklyn, according to police.
It happened on Sept. 30, around 8:20 p.m. at the corner of Cortelyou Road and East 17th Street.
Police say the teen was approached by an unknown individual and threatened him with a gun before forcibly removing his backpack and bicycle. Police say the teen was not hurt.
Police released surveillance video of the man who is described as approximately 20 years old, 5'8" tall, 130 pounds, with a dark complexion, black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue pants.
