Police: 3 men steal $10K from Borough Park synagogue
A Borough Park synagogue was the target of a burglary early Thursday morning, just days after another synagogue in Brooklyn was burglarized.
Police say three men came into Tosh Synagogue around 3:30 a.m. and were able to grab $10,000 from a wall safe and walk right out.
Investigators say there was no sign of forced entry at the front door of the safe.
According to reports police were able to see the men on video, though that have not yet released pictures of the suspects.
It is unclear if the men were dressed in Hasidic garb, which would make it easier for them to go unnoticed.
On Tuesday a thief stole valuable scrolls from a Midwood synagogue, but police do not believe the two cases are connected.
