31-year-old Austrian tourist ID'd as man found dead on Williamsburg Bridge

The body of a 31-year-old Austrian tourist has been identified after police say he either fell or was pushed from the top of the Williamsburg Bridge earlier this week.

Police say Arthur Magnus was found dead on the bridge Tuesday around 5:20 a.m.

He was in New York City for a wedding and staying with family, according to police.

They say Magnus sustained injuries from falling from an elevated structure.

A medical examiner will determine the exact cause of death.

Police did not say if they were investigating the case as a homicide.
