Día de Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a major festival being celebrated in Mexico and Central America - and a bakery in Sunset Park.
The day is dedicated to celebrating the lives of those who have passed away. People will be building alters that display their deceased relative's possessions and favorite foods.
Don Paco López Panaderia, on Fourth Avenue, is carrying on the tradition. They are selling pan de muerto - a traditional type of bread served in the days leading up to the holiday.
Día de Muertos ends at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
