Incumbents sweep to victory in Bronx, Brooklyn races
U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer led the way for a number of incumbents who were re-elected to their seats.
Brooklyn winners included Rep. Nydia Velazquez in the 7th District, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries in the 8th District, Rep. Yvette Clarke in the 9th District, Rep. Jerrold Nadler in the 10th District, Rep. Dan Donovan in the 11th District and Carolyn Maloney in the 12th District.
Winners in the Bronx included Adriano Espaillat in the 13th District, Rep. Joe Crowley in the 14th District, Rep. Jose E. Serrano in the 15th District and Rep. Eliot Engel in the 16th District.
