Brooklyn residents share mixed feelings on Trump win
Brooklyn residents are sharing mixed feelings Wednesday after Donald Trump won the 2016 presidential election against Democrat opponent Hillary Clinton.
Some residents say they are shocked, while others say they are hopeful.
Trump was declared the winner of the 2016 presidential election early Wednesday morning, defeating Hillary Clinton 276 to 218 through the electoral college election results.
One Brooklyn resident says, "It's something that never has happened, a person like that to get into office who probably doesn't know what he's doing, I mean, hopefully he has good advisors."
Another Brooklyn resident says, "I'm happy. You know the country says they want to change, so they get a change; so let's all get along and unite the country like what he said."
