Nonprofit salvages flowers to make bouquets

A Brooklyn nonprofit salvaging flowers that would otherwise be thrown away has blossomed over the last year.

The group Bloom Again Brooklyn refurbishes the flowers into beautiful bouquets and delivers them to the elderly.

By working with groups like Heights and Hills and the Junior League of Brooklyn, the group now serves five times as many people than they did at the start of the year.

Bloom Again Brooklyn hopes to hold more workshops and expand their services.
