A pair of Islanders players visited P.S. 312 in Bergen Beach Wednesday.
Nikolay Kulemin and Shane Prince arrived after a music teacher at the school entered an essay contest to have them visit the school.
The players spoke to students about bullying, healthy eating, exercise and achieving their dreams. They also signed autographs for the excited elementary school students.
The New York Islanders say the goal of going out into the community is to have children see that dreams are attainable and to promote healthy living as a route to success.
