Residents hope to win big in upcoming Powerball jackpot
As the holiday season approaches, Brooklyn residents are hoping to win some extra cash by being on the winning end of a large Powerball jackpot.
Back in January, the Powerball was a whopping $1.6 billion, with winners coming from California, Florida and Tennessee.
Although the upcoming lottery's amount of $293 million is significantly less, residents are still hopeful.
