Brooklyn residents headed to the gym Friday morning to work off their extra Thanksgiving carbs and calories.
Seven Bell, owner of Seven Bell Fitness, says it is important to set a goal and learn what your body is capable of. He advises people to get their diet back to as normal as it was before Thanksgiving and to keep it consistent.
"Set some goals if you haven't been working out and you know the holidays are coming and you're planning to go hard eating," Bell says. "Set a goal a week before."
For those who don't have an hour in their day to work out, experts recommend a 10 to 15-minute walk or run to burn holiday calories.
