Meeting to be held to address student harassment in Sunset Park

Officials are scheduled to host a Town Hall meeting Monday night to address reports that school workers have been telling immigrant kids to "start packing their bags" in the wake of Donald Trump's election.

The meeting will be held at I.S. 136 in Sunset Park from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

According to a school crossing guard, one custodian at P.S.169 was allegedly overheard saying, "I hope he builds the wall, and I hope they throw them over the fence."
