BK students selected to perform with Moscow Ballet

Students from across Brooklyn were specially selected to perform with the Moscow Ballet at the Kings Theatre Saturday afternoon.

The performances are part of the Dance With Us Program and include Russian, Chinese, and Spanish ballet variations, as well as the holiday favorite "The Nutcracker."

Girls between the ages of 7 and 17 auditioned in July for the chance to dance with the Moscow Ballet.

To qualify for an audition, they must have had at least one year of experience fine-tuning their skills at the Brighton Ballet Theater.

Students say working alongside professionals is a priceless experience.

Dance With Us visits more than 100 cities across the country and encourages young people to study the art of ballet.
