Bay Ridge ceremony honors Pearl Harbor victims
A ceremony was held Tuesday in Bay Ridge to honor the lives lost in the attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941.
Veterans gathered at the American Veterans Memorial Pier in remembrance of the 2,403 Americans killed that day.
They prayed and then tossed a wreath into the water -- a ceremonial tradition in the military to honor the fallen.
The veterans say they will continue their tradition of remembrance every year.
