Teen killed after attempting jump from train to platform in Brooklyn

A teen has died after police say he attempted to jump from a moving train and onto a platform in Brooklyn.



The 14-year-old boy was riding between two cars of a southbound L train when he attempted to jump to the New Lots Avenue station platform in Brownsville around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.



He was killed when he missed and landed on the tracks.



The teen was rushed to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
