Lego World comes to Downtown Brooklyn
Starting this weekend, a favorite holiday toy is coming to Brooklyn in a big way.
Brick City Live: A Lego Holiday Experience will be at the New City Point in Downtown Brooklyn.
The North American tour is stopping in Brooklyn for the special event.
The exhibition is just for walking around and looking as visitors are encouraged to take part and build their own figures. There's even a huge mosaic that will only be revealed when the nearly 60,000 Lego elements are assembled correctly by participants. The clue that is given is that the mosaic has something to do with the upcoming "Star Wars" movie.
There is a Lego pit where visitors can put their imagination to work with Lego bricks.
"Lego represents the ability to creative whatever you want," says show manager, Mark Noel. "It is what you say it is-- it's a car, it's a plane, it's whatever it is."
The exhibition will remain at City Point through next weekend as well.
