Men seen breaking religious statue outside BK church

A religious statue was damaged by a couple of men outside a church in Brooklyn, police say.

The incident happened on Dec. 10, in front of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church on Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg around 10:55 p.m.

At least two men can be seen approaching the three statues on surveillance video. They appear to pose with the statues as they stand on top of their platforms causing one to topple over and break.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
